Heritage Day Program

Join us on July 26th for the Lac qui Parle County Historical Society’s annual Heritage Day program. This year the program will feature a talk from Teresa Peterson, an author from the Upper Sioux Community near Granite Falls who will talk to us about her career as an author, the Dakota people, and how the Dakota have used the natural world for food and medicine. Refreshments will also be provided at the event.
